Way to get a loan in Netherlands?

Way to get a loan in Netherlands?

Hello. For more than a year now, I have been living and working in Netherlands as a filthy immigrant as most of the Dutch people would say, as I don't know Dutch language. I've been working in Netherlands through job agency Adecco, and I was actually thinking about staying here for as long as possible. Maybe start learning Dutch language, find a girlfriend, etc.

But right now I am living in Adecco accommodations which are way too expensive. Recently I've started to think about finding my own place to live and buying my own car. Here's where my issue starts. I have Netherlands BSN number and ING bank account (what I am trying to say is that I am working legally in Netherlands).

I have been working here for over a year now and I have tried three times to get a loan in ING bank and provided them with all the required documents, but every time my request is denied, because I don't have a full time contract (I am working through job agency Adecco). My question would be, is it is possible to get a loan in Netherlands for immigrants that don't have a full time contract, but is working there legally?

Sorry, for such a long question, but I wanted to explain my situation as best as I can and also sorry for my English. Thank you very much.

I'm a full blooded, natively born Dutchman so I can at least guide you towards the solution.

Thing to remember here is that NL is highly bureaucratic with a social backdrop. So, you have to take that into consideration. Basically, the ING is being forced into the response they were giving you. They are required by law to be that strict.

However, things are not nearly as strict as you might think. Even temp agency employees (technically, you're in employ of Adecco) can and do get loans but it usually depends on how long they have been with their respective temp agencies.

There are basically 3 phases to that.

Phase A: Up to 78 weeks employment with the same temp agency.
Phase B: Up to 4 and a half years.
Phase C: Anything beyond that.

I don't know exactly how long you've been working with Adecco. At the off chance it has been less than 78 weeks, I'm sorry to inform you that it will be completely impossible to get a loan, legally, in NL. Again, legal restrictions.

In that case, you are simply going to have to wait. And keep working for Adecco. Until you have been with them long enough. After that point, ING would have little legal reason to deny you your loan.
