Best place to invest money securely? (Legal only please.)
Same as the title, what are some of the best legal ways to invest money to make some profit, not looking for absolutely insane gains, just some profit on the side.

Gold is a longterm invest, but its not that safe because more gold is traded than really exists. This can lead the gold price to go up a lot or down, because people can loose their trust. Over all its relativly safe. Some analysts think it can go up to 20k $.I would prefer a long and short strategy to be relativly safe. We have difficult times right now. So its very important to spread the portfolio properly. The easiest way is with ETFs, but they are very slow, because they normally follows trends. So you will never be in the situation to find the best point of sell or purchase.
I would go with companies that are the number 1, 2 or 3 in the branch, woldwide, continental, etc. Its important, that the companie produces important stuff, that will be needed in future. So dont buy things like automobile stuff and related to that or try to find a good short position in a branch like that.
You can also try to trade usd, rubel and Co, which is more speculative and more difficult or go with bonds, but keep an eye on the risks/interestrates. You have to have knowledge about geopolitics too to trade such stuff.
